W2 wheelset

29 x 1.75-inch double-wall alloy rims with a 22mm profile, laced 36-hole with 14-gauge spokes. Schrader valves.

The hub

Laced to our Hub 2. The rear has 120 points of engagement, four sealed bearings and a 10mm bolt-in, peg-ready axle in 135 or 142mm spacing. The front runs a quick-release axle at 100mm with two sealed bearings.

Why it matters

With 120 points of engagement, the drive picks up every 3 degrees, so a pedal stroke to save a dropping front end takes effect sooner. It’s also the way to make a C100 V3 peg-ready.
