In late May 2024, Collective teamed up with BMX Avenue for the third year in a row to bring Bikelife to the masses at FISE World Montpellier.
For those who are somehow unaware, FISE is the biggest action-sports event in Europe, with thousands of athletes in BMX and Skate from all over the world coming to compete in massive competitions over the course of 4 days every year, in Montpellier, France. Almost similar to NASS Festival in the UK, but on an enormously bigger scale. Even before the existence of Collective, our OG Ryan Taylor would attend the festival to compete in BMX alongside huge names such as Mark Webb, Ryan Nyquist and Harry Main.
As time goes on and the action sports landscape changes, FISE are ahead of the game and can see the impact of bikelife all over the world, and have allowed us a space to show the masses what the movement is all about.
Our esteemed panel of judges: Enzo Lagorce (currently also sponsored by Adidas and Oakley), Jake100 (of the world-renowned Collective C100) and POLO G, hosted 3 competitions over 3 days at the arena. The best of bikelife including sponsored athletes from the 3 big core bikelife brands (SE Bikes, Mafiabike and Collective) travelled to the event from Paris, Milan, London and many other places to take home cash prizes in Swerve, Freestyle, and Drag. We also gave away a ton of Collective Chest Rigs and even a C100 as prizes to competition participants and the eager crowd.
A huge thanks to FISE and BMX Avenue for working with us to make this happen. Bikelife is surely being recognised as a legitimate sport and we are proud to have played a big part in making this a reality alongside our family, and we will continue to do so!
